Comandante de Al Qaeda en la Península Arábiga muere en un ataque de EE.UU.

Un comandante de alto rango de Al Qaeda en la Península Arábiga (AQAP) murió por el ataque de un avión no tripulado de Estados Unidos, según apunta un comunicado en video de un vocero de AQAP.

No estaba claro de manera inmediata cuándo fue asesinado Nasser Ibn Ali al Ansi.

Un funcionario estadounidense confirmó la muerte de al Ansi, pero no pudo corroborar que su muerte haya ocurrido por el ataque de un drone.

El comandante era conocido por adjudicar a AQAP el ataque al semanario satírico Charlie Hebdo en París en enero pasado.
