There’s no such thing as being too safe. The Broward Sheriff’s Office Pompano Beach District and the City of Pompano Beach are hosting the 1st Annual Security and Safety Expo on July 19. The expo brings together security and safety companies in order to show off their wares and demonstrate the latest in security hardware and safety techniques.

Vendors will be conducting seminars, taking orders and selling items directly to attendees during the event. Presenters will discuss products and technologies that can help keep you safe during natural or man-made disasters as well as the newest crime prevention tools and techniques.
BSO, Pompano Beach Fire Rescue, City of Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment and the Parks & Recreation departments will all be on hand. PBFR will demonstrate fire prevention safety. Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue will have a “paint the fire truck” activity, cotton candy and snow cones for the kids. Safety demonstrations will range from the proper way to fit a car seat to what preventive measures can be taken in life-threatening situations.
The expo is a free event for vendors and attendees. Parking is convenient and food and beverages will be available.
